JIIT Noida Admissions 2025
Overview
Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida is a deemed university established in 2001. The institute offers B.Tech. & Integrated M.Tech. courses, and admissions are conducted through institutional-level counselling.
Admissions will be conducted through:
- Mode 1 – JEE Main Merit
- Mode 2 – Class 12th Merit
UPDATE: JIIT Noida has released the admission notification for the academic year 2025-26, and registrations have started.
The JEE Main mode application form (offline or online for JEE-based admissions) is common for all four Jaypee universities, namely JIIT Noida (Sec 62 & Sec 128), JUIT Waknaghat, JUET Guna, and JU Anoopshahr. The Class 12th mode application form is separate for each university.

Eligibility
Entrance Examination
Only for JEE Main Mode: The candidate must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2025 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
Qualifying Examination
- Year of Qualifying Examination: Candidates who have passed or are appearing for the 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible.
- Required Subjects: Physics and Mathematics are compulsory, along with one optional subject from Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, IT, Biology, Biotechnology, and related fields.
- Minimum Marks: Candidates must have at least 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST) in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
Special Conditions for Direct Admission
- JIIT Noida will conduct direct admissions for AI-ML (30 seats), Electronics-Computer (60 seats), Mathematics-Computing (60 seats), Electronics-VLSI (30 seats), and ECE-Advanced Communication (30 seats).
- Candidates must fill out the form titled “10+2 Marks Based (Except Biotech) – JIIT Noida” on the Institute’s admission website and select the DIRECT ADMISSION category.
- No additional application fee is required for Direct Admission.
- Admission will be based on the aggregate 10+2 marks in Mathematics, Physics, and any third subject.
- Candidates confirming admission under this category will not be eligible for admission under any other BTech/Integrated MTech program at JIIT.
- No change of branch or program will be allowed once a seat is allotted under Direct Admission.
Criteria of Selection
- Admissions through JEE Main mode (50% of seats) will be based on the All India Rank obtained in the JEE (Main) 2025 examination.
- Admissions through Class 12th mode (50% of seats) will be based on the aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject from Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship.
- For Biotechnology and Bioinformatics programs, 50% of seats will be allotted based on JEE (Main) 2025 All India Rank Merit, while the remaining 50% will be allotted based on Class 12th merit. A separate application is required for Class 12th merit-based admissions.
Application Fee
The registration fee for JIIT Noida admissions is ₹1,200 per admission mode.
Registration
- Registration for JIIT Noida admissions begins on February 1, 2025.
- The last date to register is June 5, 2025, for JEE Main mode and May 20, 2025, for Class 12th mode/Direct Admission.
- Candidates applying under both JEE (Main) and Class 12th modes must submit separate applications and pay the respective fees.
Application Procedure
Online Filling (Online Payment)
- Candidates must register on the JIIT Admissions portal.
- Pay the application fee using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Upon successful payment, an Application ID will be generated.
- Upload a photograph, candidate’s signature, and parent’s signature, then submit the form.
- Candidates should retain a copy of the completed application form for future reference.
Offline Filling
- Obtain the application form and brochure from any of the three Jaypee campuses by paying ₹1,200 in cash or download the application form from the Jaypee website.
- Send the completed application form to “The Registrar, Admission Cell (UG Programs), Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, A-10, Sector-62, Noida – 201309 (U.P).”
- For downloaded forms, attach a demand draft of ₹1,200 in favor of “Jaypee Institutes Admission Account,” payable at Noida/Delhi.
- Candidates should keep a photocopy of the filled-in application form for future reference.
Merit List
- For JEE Main mode, the merit list will be prepared based on the overall All India Rank in the JEE (Main) 2025 examination.
- For Class 12th mode, the merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship in 10+2.
Counselling
- For JEE Main mode, combined counselling for JIIT Noida, JUIT Waknaghat, JUET Guna, and JU Anoopshahr will be conducted offline at JIIT Sector 62, Noida, on the scheduled date.
- The counselling schedule for candidates with valid applications will be updated on the website.
- Candidates can choose only one university during counselling. No inter-university transfers will be allowed after seat allocation.
- Candidates opting for JIIT Noida can select either Group A branches (CSE, IT, AIML, MNC, Int-CSE) or Group B branches (ECE, EE-VLSI, EC-ACT, ECM, Int-ECE).
- Program/branch upgradation will be allowed within the same university based on merit and choices exercised.
- At the time of counselling, candidates can confirm their seat or opt for the waitlist by paying ₹75,000 (₹50,000 as a partial tuition fee and ₹25,000 as a non-refundable one-time fee).
- Candidates who secure a seat will receive a Provisional Admission Letter.

Scholarship

Refund Policy
- Candidates wishing to withdraw the seat must submit an Application to the Registrar either by hand or by email.
- The fees shall be refunded to an eligible student within 15 days from the date of receiving the application.
