Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow would conduct Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) for admission Government / Government Aided / Private Unaided institutions affiliated to the University or some other state Universities of Uttar Pradesh.

  • Candidates must have passed the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent examination.
  • Candidate must have passed without grace the compulsory subjects (Physics & Mathematics) and one optional subject (Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject).
  • Candidate must have secured an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the the above mentioned three subjects.
  • All candidates who are eligible for admission in B.Tech. course are also eligible for B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) and B.Tech. (Bio-Technology).

For B.Tech. (Bio-Technology)

For B.Tech. (Bio-Technology)

  • Candidates must have passed the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent examination.
  • Candidate must have passed without grace the compulsory subjects (Physics & Mathematics/Biology) and one optional subject (Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Technical Vocational subject).
  • Candidate must have secured an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the the above mentioned three subjects.

  • Candidate must have secured an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates).
  • All Eligible candidates for B.Tech. are also eligible for B.Tech. (Agriculture).

For B.Arch.

  • Candidates must have passed the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent examination.
  • Candidate must have passed without grace the compulsory subjects (Physics & Mathematics) and one optional subject (Chemistry / Computer Science / Biology / Engineering Drawing / Technical Vocational Subject).
  • Candidate must have secured an aggregate of 50%.

For B.Pharm.

For B.Pharm.

  • Candidates must have passed the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent examination.
  • Candidate must have passed without grace the compulsory subjects (Physics & Chemistry) and one optional subject (Mathematics / Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject).
  • Candidate must have secured an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the the above mentioned three subjects.

Age

  • There is no age limit.

Fees

₹1300 (for Male / Transgender Candidates of General / OBC Category) and ₹650 (for SC/ST Category and Female Candidates / Physically Handicapped Candidates)

Registration

  • The registration for UPSEE 2018 will begin on January 23, 2018 at 11 AM.
  • The last date to register is March 15, 2018 (upto 5PM) March 30, 2018 (upto 5.30PM).

Application Procedure

Procedure

  1. The aspiring candidate should furnish all the details and choose a password while filling up the Online Application. After successful submission of the data, Application number will be generated which will be used for subsequent logins.
  2. Once the candidate has registered, he/she is required to upload scanned images of his/her photograph and signature.
  3. The candidate is then required to pay the Examination Fee which can be done by Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking/Wallets.
  4. Once the payment is done, Confirmation Page will be generated. Candidates are advised to save it for future reference.

Note

  • Candidates are required to fill Aadhaar details in the application form. Candidates who don’t have Aadhaar can visit any Aadhaar enrolment centre to get enrolled. Candidates who have enrolled for Aadhaar but have not received Aadhaar should enter 28 digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID.
  • The scanned photograph should be colour with name of the candidate printed on it.
  • The entire application process is online, thus the candidates are not required to send any document to University.

Application Correction

  • Candidates will be provided a facility to make correction in their application form particulars.
  • It is one-time facility and is extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them.
  • It’ll be available after the last date of registration till April 05, 2018 (5PM).

Admit Card

  • Admit Card can be downloaded from UPSEE website from April 20, 2018 onwards.
  • Candidates are advised to check the category, sub-category, gender, rural weightage, name, father’s name etc. mentioned on the Admit Card.
  • A printed copy of the downloaded admit card should be produced at the time of examination.
  • Admit Card should be carefully preserved until the admission process is completed.

Merit List / Result

  • The results of UPSEE-2018 will be declared in the first week of June 2018.
  • Merit position, score-card with total marks and marks obtained in each subject shall be available on UPSEE website after the declaration of the result.
  • Separate merit lists will be prepared for each course based on the performance of the candidates in the examination.
  • The cut-off percentage of marks in UPSEE-2018 for the merit of successful candidates is 25% (20% for SC/ST) as per UP State Govt. order.
  • Successful candidates shall be called for counselling according to their merit in UPSEE-2018 by giving intimation through Newspapers and website.

Re-Checking

  • The candidate can get his/her answer sheets scrutinized on payment of Rs. 5000/- per paper within seven days of declaration of result.
  • The application for scrutiny may be submitted to the Registrar, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow (U.P.) 226031 in writing.

Admissions

Overview

  • 100% seats in all the courses in first year for Government/ Government Aided/ Govt. Self Financed Institutes will be filled by UPSEE-2018 qualified candidates.
  • 85% seats in all the courses for private colleges will be filled by UPSEE-2018 qualified candidates.
  • 15% of the total sanctioned seats available in Private Institutions will be filled by the Management quota / NRI candidates.
  • 10% of the total sanctioned seats available for admission in first year in Technology / Architecture courses in Private institutions affiliated to AKTU to be filled through merit of Non U.P. Domicile candidates without reservation subject to eligibility conditions given here. These seats shall be filled on the basis of UPSEE-2018 Merit.

UPGE

  • Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located in the State of U.P. and who do not claim for any reserved category are eligible for admission to all the courses at all the institutions against available General (OPEN) seats.

UPSC / UPST / UPBC

UPSC / UPST / UPBC

  • Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located in State of U.P. and are domicile of U.P. and belong to Schedule Caste (SC) of U.P. / Schedule Tribe (ST) of U.P. / Other Backward Classes of U.P. are eligible for admission against available reserved seats of their category.

UPGD

UPGD

  • Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located outside U.P. and whose parents are domicile of U.P. and who have not claimed for any reserved category, are also eligible for admission to courses offered at all institutions under General (OPEN) category.
  • Such candidate has to produce the domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) at the time of counselling.

GDSC / GDST / GDBC

GDSC / GDST / GDBC

  • Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located outside U.P. and whose parents are domicile of U.P. and who belong to Schedule Caste of U.P. / Schedule Tribe of U.P. / Other Backward classes of U.P. are also eligible for admission against reserved seats of their category.
  • Such candidate has to produce the domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) and Category Certificate at the time of counselling.

GDDA

GDDA

  • The domicile requirement to son/daughter is relaxed for Defense personnel settled in U.P. on the date of Entrance Examination after retirement / being disabled in action or Defense personnel killed in action and the dependents settled in U.P. on the date of Entrance Examination.
  • The domicile requirement to son/daughter is relaxed for Defense personnel who are not domicile of U.P., but are posted in U.P. on the date of Entrance Examination.
  • The domicile requirement to son/daughter is relaxed for Employee of All India Services belonging to U.P. cadre.

OSGE

OSGE

  • Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located outside U.P. and whose parents are NOT domicile of U.P.
  • Such candidates, along-with candidates of other categories, shall be considered only against 10 percent of the sanctioned intake of first year in Technology / Architecture courses in Private Institutions affiliated to AKTU.
