About
Pattern
- It is a Computer Based Test and candidates should do slot booking for Test. Candidates can write the exam from home.
- The exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration.
- There will be 5 subject sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English, and Aptitude.
- All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) i.e. each question will have four choices, only one being the correct choice.
- Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer.
- There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
- The medium of Question paper will be English.

- Slot I (Remote-Proctored): 9 AM to 11.30 AM

Eligibility
Nationality
- Candidate must be Indian resident / NRI / holder of PIO or OCI card (issued by Government of India) to apply for SRMJEEE.
- NRIs & holders of PIO or OCI card (issued by Government of India) who have not taken the SRMJEEE must apply under the International student category.
Age
- Candidate should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
Qualifying Examination
- Candidate should have either passed or appearing in the current academic year, in the higher secondary examination (10+2) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
- International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or A-level with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects in any International schools within India.
- Candidates must obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM to be eligible for admission to all the B.Tech. programmes or obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM/PCB to be eligible for admission to Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, and Genetic Engineering programmes.
- Candidates who have completed 10th as well as 12th in NIOS are not considered for admission to any programmes of SRM University.
Syllabus
Mock Test
- An official mock test is made available to the candidates appearing for SRMJEEE.
- Candidates can take the Mock Test to understand the pattern of the computer-based test and make themselves familiar with the interface.
- Mock test is for practice purpose only.

- Only the candidates who have taken the Mock Test will be allowed to take the main examination.

Fees
SRMJEEE 2024 Application Fee is ₹1,200.
Registration
- The registrations for SRMJEEE 2024 are open now.
- The last date to register is April 14, 2024 for Phase I of the exam and June 15, 2024 for Phase II of the exam.
Application Procedure
Online Filling with Online Payment
- The aspiring candidate should register at SRM University Applications site and verify his/her email.
- Candidates will have to login with their credentials and fill the application form with the required details.
- After filling the details, the candidate has to pay the application fee online.
- The candidate is then required to upload the required documents.
- After successful submission of the application form, an application number will be generated.
- Candidates are advised to save the application form for future use.
Online Filling with DD Payment
- The aspiring candidate should register at SRM University Applications site and verify his/her email.
- Candidates will have to login with their credentials and fill the application form with the required details.
- After filling the details, the candidate has to submit the details of Demand Draft.
- The DD for Rs.1,200 has to be drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD.
- The filled Application form along with DD has to be sent to “The Director, The Directorate of Admissions, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University), Kattankulathur, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu – 603203”.
- Applications received after the due date will not be accepted.
Note
- Candidates who have paid fees using Online mode (Net banking/Debit card/Credit card) are NOT required to send the hard copy of the application form.
- Candidates are required to submit a self-attested scanned copy of passport-sized photograph and signature.
Application Correction
- Candidates will be provided a facility to make corrections in their application form particulars.
- It is a one-time facility and is extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them.
- Candidates will be able to edit all the particulars of their Online Application except mobile number and email id.
- The correction facility will be available as notified.
Slot Booking
- The candidates are required to reserve a test center, date, and slot for taking the SRMJEEE examination.
- The slot booking will be done on the first-come-first-served basis.
- Candidates must note that admit card will not be generated without slot booking.
Hall Ticket / Admit Card
- The hall ticket can be downloaded from the SRM University Applications site after slot booking.
- Please note that hall ticket will be issued only to those eligible candidates who have submitted their application form complete in all respect, on or before the last date.
- The hall ticket will contain the name, photograph, address of the candidate, address of the Test Centre allotted and test schedule.
- Candidates are required to produce the Hall Ticket at the registration desk without which entry will not be allowed.
Test Centres
SRMJEEE 2024 will be conducted in Remote Proctored Online Mode.
Result / Rank List
- A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks secured in the SRMJEEE (UG).
- The examination result and counselling details will be published on the SRMIST website and also intimated to the candidates through e-mail.
- The results will be declared as per schedule.
Counselling
- The admission will be purely on the basis of the performance in the entrance examination SRMJEEE (UG) provided that the candidate satisfies eligibility conditions described here.
- Admissions will be done through centralized single window counselling.

Important Information
- Candidates who have not studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in 11th and 12th are only eligible for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering programmes.
- Candidates must fill correct email & mobile number in order to stay updated at every stage of the admission through SMS / e-mail.
- Candidates attempting Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Aptitude and English are eligible for B.Tech. Biotechnology and all its specializations and B.Tech Biomedical Engineering programmes only.
- The selection of subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, Aptitude and English) has to be mentioned in the application form.
