SRMJEEE 2023: Counselling Details
Overview
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), formerly SRM University has released the counselling details for Phase II of SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE 2023). The admission counselling will begin on June 17, 2023.
The candidates will be allotted a seat based on their All India Rank (AIR) in SRMJEEE 2023, course preferences and availability of seats. The counselling will be common for admission at all the SRM universities namely SRM IST Chennai campuses, SRM University Sonepat and SRM University AP.
The counselling process will be held online where candidates will be required to provide their program choices during the choice filling period. If a seat is allotted, candidates need to make the payment of fees.

Eligibility
Entrance Examination
- The candidate must have appeared for SRMJEEE 2023 to be eligible for admission.
Age
- Candidate must have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on July 31 of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
Qualifying Examination
- Candidate should have either passed or appearing in the current academic year, in the higher secondary examination (10+2) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
- International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or A-level with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects in any International schools within India.
- Candidates must obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM to be eligible for admission to all the B.Tech. programmes or obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM/PCB to be eligible for admission to Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, and Genetic Engineering programmes.
- Candidates who have completed 10th as well as 12th in NIOS are not considered for admission to any programmes of SRM University.
Counselling Location
Counselling will be held online through the online Admission portal.
Counselling Procedure
- A) Program Selection: Candidate needs to provide his/her preferences of courses during the choice filling period.
- B) Allotment: A seat will be allotted based on the candidate’s rank, preferences, and availability of seats.
- C) Fee Payment: On allotment of a seat, the candidate needs to go for the payment of fees. The payment instructions will be available in the online admission portal.
