Overview

IIIT Hyderabad has released the notification for admission to UG programmes.

Admissions will be done through:

  • JEE (Main) Mode
  • Direct Admissions for Students Abroad (DASA) Mode
  • Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination (UGEE) Mode
  • Olympiad Mode
  • Special Channel of Admission (SPEC) Mode

JEE (Main) Mode

  • For admission to Single Degree Programmes
  • Admission through JEE (Main) marks

DASA Mode

  • For students who have studied XI and XII (or equivalent) outside India OR hold a foreign passport
  • Admission through SAT and SAT Subject Scores

UGEE Mode

  • For admission to Dual Degree Programmes
  • Admission based on an entrance examination followed by an interview

Olympiad Mode

  • For admission to Dual Degree Programmes
  • For students selected to represent India in the International Olympiads during class XI and/or XII.

SPEC Mode

  • For admission to Single Degree Programmes
  • For students who qualified for the UDAAN scheme of CBSE OR studying in a six-year integrated XIIth + four-year undergraduate program and completing the second year of study in May 2018

Eligibility

  • Take JEE (Main) exam
  • Obtain a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII.

DASA Mode Eligibility

DASA Mode Eligibility

  • Complete class 12th or equivalent by May 2018 or earlier.
  • Obtain a minimum of 60% marks (or 6.0 grade on 10 point scale) in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII.
  • Obtain a minimum aggregate score of 1070 (out of a maximum of 1600) in SAT, and also a minimum aggregate score of 2000 (out of a maximum of 2400) in SAT Subject Tests in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics level 2.
  • A candidate should have written the SAT and SAT subject tests not earlier than June 2016.
