Overview

International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIITH) is an autonomous university and has evolved strong research programmes in various areas. It conducts institutional level counselling for admission to its B.Tech and Dual Degree programmes.

IIIT Hyderabad Admissions 2019 notification is yet to be released for admission to UG programmes though notification for DASA mode admissions is released.

Modes of Admission

JEE (Main) Mode

  • For admission to Single Degree Programmes
  • Admission through JEE (Main) marks

DASA Mode

  • For students who have studied XI and XII (or equivalent) outside India OR hold a foreign passport
  • Admission through SAT and SAT Subject Scores

UGEE Mode

  • For admission to Dual Degree Programmes
  • Admission based on an entrance examination followed by an interview

Olympiad Mode

  • For admission to Dual Degree Programmes
  • For students selected to represent India in the International Olympiads during class XI and/or XII.

SPEC Mode

  • For admission to Single Degree Programmes
  • For students who qualified for the UDAAN scheme of CBSE OR studying in a six-year integrated XIIth + four-year undergraduate program and completing the second year of study in May 2019.

Eligibility

  • Take JEE (Main) exam
  • Obtain a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII.

DASA Mode Eligibility

DASA Mode Eligibility

  • Complete class 12th or equivalent by May 2019 or earlier.
  • Obtain a minimum of 60% marks (or 6.0 grade on 10 point scale) in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII.
  • Obtain a minimum aggregate score of 1070 (out of a maximum of 1600) in SAT, and also a minimum aggregate score of 2000 (out of a maximum of 2400) in SAT Subject Tests in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics level 2.
  • Both SAT and SAT Subject Test scores are mandatory for application; the essay part of SAT is not required.
  • A candidate should have written the SAT and SAT subject tests not earlier than May 2017.
