Overview
The Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination (UGEE) is conducted by IIIT Hyderabad for admission to the 5-year B.Tech + MS Dual Degree programmes at IIIT Hyderabad. Students applying through the UGEE mode are required to appear for this examination.

Exam Pattern
- The exam will be a computer-based test with a duration of 3 hours.
- There will be two sections: Subject Proficiency Test (SUPR) and Research Aptitude Test (REAP).
- Section I will include questions on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, while Section II will include questions on critical and creative thinking in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- For every incorrect answer, 25% of the marks will be deducted in both sections.
- Applicants will be filtered based on their SUPR section score, and then ranked based on their REAP section score.

Eligibility
- Completed class XII or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics by June 2025.
Syllabus
The syllabus for IIITH UGEE will be the same as the CBSE XI and XII standard Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

- The official mock test is available to candidates appearing for IIITH UGEE.
- Candidates can take the mock test to understand the pattern of the computer-based test and familiarize themselves with the interface.

Fees
The IIITH UGEE 2025 application fee is ₹3,000 (₹1,500 for female candidates).
Registration
- The registrations for IIITH UGEE 2025 examination will begin on February 4, 2025.
- The last date to apply is
March 23, 2025March 26, 2025.
Application Procedure
- Candidates need to visit the IIIT-H Admissions website and register.
- Log in and fill out the prescribed application form.
- Pay the application fee online.
- Download a copy of the application for future reference.
Hall Ticket / Admit Card
- The admit card can be downloaded from the IIITH Admissions site once it is notified.
- Please note that the admit card will be issued only to those candidates whose application form is complete in all respects and has been submitted successfully on or before the last date for submission.
- Candidates are required to produce the admit card at the test centre, without which entry will not be allowed.

Qualifying Cutoff
Candidates need to clear the cutoff specified by IIIT-H in order to be shortlisted for the interview. The cutoff marks for previous years are as follows:

Result
- Results will be available on the IIIT-H site once it is notified.
- Applicants will be ranked based on their REAP section score, while the SUPR section score will be used for filtering.
- Candidates who clear the Qualifying Cutoff must appear for an interview as per the notified schedule.
- The final offer of admission will be solely based on interview performance.
