Amrita Admissions 2023
Overview
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a deemed-to-be university established in the year 1994. It conducts university level counselling for admission to its B.Tech programmes at 4 campuses i.e. Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore.

Programmes Offered and Seats
Eligibility
Age
- Candidate should be born on or after July 1, 2002.
Qualifying Examination
- Candidate should have either passed the higher secondary examination (class 12th) or appearing in the current academic year, in and secured a minimum of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics separately.
- Candidate must obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects taken together in class 12th.
Entrance Exam
- Candidate must take the Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) – 70% seats or JEE Main – 25% seats or SAT – 3% seats or Pearson UG examination for admission to Engineering courses.

Criteria of Selection
Admissions will be based on the rank in Merit List prepared on the basis of score/rank in Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) or JEE Main through Amrita Counselling.

The prescribed registration fee for the Amrita Admissions is as follows.

Registration
- The registrations for Amrita Admissions 2023 are open now.
- The last date to register through AEEE exam mode is yet to be announced.
- The last date to register through JEE Main mode is yet to be announced.

Application Procedure
- The aspiring candidate should register at the Amrita Applications site and verify his/her email.
- Candidates will have to login with their credentials and fill the application form with the required details.
- After filling in the details, the candidate has to pay the application fee online.
- The candidate is then required to upload the required documents.
- After successful submission of the application form, an application number will be generated.
- Candidates are advised to save the application form for future use.
Admission Procedure

- A merit list will be prepared based on performace of candidates in AEEE/ JEE Main.
- Candidate has to then appear for the Amrita Counselling process to get admission.
Counselling
- Admission to all campuses of Amrita will be done through Amrita central counselling.
- The Amrita Counselling will be done online in different rounds. To appear in the counselling, candidates will have to register themselves and fill their preferences of colleges and courses. On the basis of filled choices, merit rank and seats availability, seat allocation will be done.
