Exam Pattern
- It is a Computer-Based Test, and candidates must book a slot for the test.
- The exam will have a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- There will be 4 subject sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English, with a total of 100 questions.
- All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), meaning each question will have four choices, with only one being the correct answer.
- Candidates will be awarded 3 marks for each correct answer.
- Each incorrect answer will incur a penalty of 1 mark (-1 mark).
- The medium of the question paper will be English.

Eligibility
Age
- Candidate should be born on or after July 1, 2003.
Qualifying Examination
- The candidate should have either passed the higher secondary examination (Class 12th) in 2024 or be appearing for it in the current academic year (2025), with a minimum of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics separately.
- The candidate must obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects taken together in Class 12th.
Syllabus
Mock Test
- An official mock test is available for candidates appearing for AEEE.
- Candidates can take the mock test to understand the pattern of the computer-based test and familiarize themselves with the interface.
- The mock test is intended for practice purposes only.
- Candidates can access the AEEE official practice test here.
Fees
AEEE 2025 Application Fee is ₹1,200.
Registration
- The registrations for AEEE 2025 will open from November 15, 2024.
- The last date to register is January 25, 2025 for Phase I and is May 1, 2025 for Phase II.
- Candidates who have appeared in Phase I of the AEEE 2025 examination can re-appear for Phase II examination by paying a fee of ₹600.
Application Procedure
- The aspiring candidate should register on the Amrita Applications site and verify their email address.
- Candidates must log in with their credentials and fill out the application form with the required details.
- After filling out the details, the candidate must pay the application fee online.
- The candidate is then required to upload the necessary documents.
- Once the application form is successfully submitted, an application number will be generated.
- Candidates are advised to save a copy of the application form for future reference.
Application Correction
- Candidates will be provided with a facility to make corrections to their application form details.
- This is a one-time facility extended to candidates to prevent any hardship.
- Candidates will be able to edit all particulars of their online application, except for the mobile number and email address.
- The candidate’s name and their parents’ names in the application form must exactly match those registered in the Class 10th certificate.
- The correction facility will be available as per the notification.
Slot Booking
- Candidates are required to reserve a test center, date, and time slot for the AEEE examination.
- Slot booking will be available on the official AEEE website, as per the notified schedule.
- Slot booking will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Once a slot is booked, it cannot be changed under any circumstances.
- If a candidate does not book a test slot, they will be assigned a date and time slot based on availability.
Hall Ticket / Admit Card
- The admit card can be downloaded from the AEEE Applications site once it is notified.
- Please note that the admit card will be issued only to eligible candidates who have submitted a complete application form on or before the last date.
- Candidates should note that the admit card will not be sent by post, and they are required to download it from the official Amrita website.
- The admit card will contain the candidate’s name, registration number, test center address, and test schedule.
- In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, candidates are advised to raise a ticket in the online query management system.
- Candidates must produce the admit card at the registration desk; entry will not be allowed without it.

Result / Rank List
- A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks secured in the AEEE.
- The examination results and counseling details will be published on the Amrita website and also sent to candidates via email.
Counselling
- Admission will be based purely on the performance in AEEE 2025 or JEE Mains 2025.
- Admissions will be conducted through centralized single-window counseling.
- The most preferred branch selected by the candidate will be allotted based on the rank/score in the eligible exams.
Important Information
- Applicants wishing to reappear in the second phase of the AEEE exam to improve their score must register by paying ₹600.
