Overview

Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT) is a private college situated in in Gandhinagar, Gujarat established in 2001. The institute takes admissions to its B.Tech. courses through ACPC counselling as well as institutional level counselling.

DAIICT has released the notification for admission to B.Tech. programmes at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT) for the session 2023-24 for All India Seats. Admissions will be done on the basis of rank obtained in JEE (Main) 2023 conducted by NTA.

UPDATE (Apr 19, 2023): Applications for DAIICT Admissions 2023 are now open.

Candidates need to apply for DA-IICT admissions separately after applying for the JEE (Main) 2023 exam. The online registrations will start on April 19, 2023.

Note: There are three separate online application forms, one for B.Tech ICT & B.Tech (Honours) in ICT, another for B.Tech (MnC) program and another for B.Tech (EVD) program.

Eligibility

Entrance Examination

The candidate must appear for one or more sessions of JEE (Main) 2023.

Qualifying Examination

Candidates should have passed or appeared (in 2023) in the class 12th examination or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and any one of Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology.

Age

The candidate must be born on or after October 1, 1998.

Criteria of Selection

Admissions will be based on the All India Rank obtained in JEE (Main) – 2023 Examination, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Registration

The registration for DAIICT Admissions 2023 for All India Seats will begin on April 19, 2023.
The last date to register for All India Seats is ~~June 27, 2023~~ June 30, 2023.

How to apply

Visit DAIICT Gandhinagar Admissions website.
Click on “Register Here” and complete the Registration form.
Log using your Email address & Password
There are three separate online application forms, one for B.Tech ICT & B.Tech (Honours) in ICT, another for B.Tech (MnC) program and another for B.Tech (EVD) program.
Choose the relevant form and fill your details.
Upload photo and required documents.
Pay the Application Fee online using Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.
On successful payment, you will be allotted a Application number. Save the acknowledgement page for future reference.

Counselling Procedure

The counselling will be done online.
Candidates will be short-listed based on the All India Ranking (AIR) in JEE Main 2023 and will be offered admission (confirmed/waitlisted) in order of their merit.
The candidates who have accepted admission offers will be asked to appear for registration, document verification and payment of fees.

Scholarship

Merit Based Scholarship

Merit-based scholarships are awarded to top 5 meritorious students who have secured JEE (Main) AIR rank up to 5000.
To be eligible from Second Semester onwards, candidates need to pass in all the courses and maintain a SPI of 8.00 or above.
The scholarship compensates for the Academic Tuition Fee.

Merit-cum-Means Based Scholarship

Merit-cum-Means-based scholarships are applicable to top 5 candidates (based on JEE Main AIR) whose annual family income is less than Rs. 4.5 lakhs per annum.
To be eligible from Second Semester onwards, candidates must continue to fulfill the annual family income criteria. Candidates need to pass in all the courses and maintain a SPI of 6.50 or above.
The scholarship compensates for the Academic Tuition Fee.
