MHT CET 2019: Application Form Filling Procedure


Application form for MHT CET 2019 is now available.

Registrations have started from January 1, 2019. The last date for filling-up the Application Form is March 23, 2019 without late fee and March 31, 2019 with a late fee of ₹500. The last date to make payment (Both Online and Bank Challan) is April 3, 2019. Check other important dates here.

How to Apply (Detailed Steps)

Step 1

Visit MHT-CET website and click on “Registration (For New Candidates)”.


Step 2

Go through the Instructions for MHT-CET 2019 Application and click on “OK”.


Step 3

There are 2 modes of Registration, Aadhaar based Registration and Non-Aadhaar based Registration. Choose one method as per your choice.


Step 4

For further steps, choose one of the following options.

Aadhaar based Registration | Non-Aadhaar based Registration

Step 4A: Aadhaar based Registration

Step 4A (i): Click on Aadhaar based Registration option and enter your Aadhaar Number in the “Enter Aadhaar Number (UID)” text box. Authenticate using OTP or Biometric.


Step 4A (ii): I) OTP Verification: Click on OTP method and select “I Agreed”. Click on “Send OTP”, enter OTP and click on “Verify OTP”.


Step 4A (ii): II) Biometric Verification: Candidates can utlise this method if their mobile number is not linked to the Aadhaar Number. The candidate can visit nearby FC centre and validate their Aadhaar number using the biometric method.

Step 4A (iii): Details fetched from Aadhaar will be pre-filled. Enter your email address and mobile number and verify using OTP. Then, enter the remaining details and choose a Username and Password. Click on “Register” button.


Step 4B: Non-Aadhaar based Registration

Click on Non-Aadhaar based Registration option and enter your email address and mobile number and verify using OTP. Then, enter the remaining details and choose a Username and Password. Click on “Register” button.


Step 5

Visit MHT-CET website and login using your credentials.


Step 6

Dashboard screen will be displayed. Click on “My Application” to continue filling Application Form.


Step 7

Click on “Proceed”.


Step 8

Read the instructions carefully and Click on “Proceed”.


Step 9

Application Form will be displayed with pre-filled details. Enter the remaining personal details including the Correspondence Address, Category, Bank Account details and Qualifying Examination (class 12th) details. Click on “Submit”.


Step 10

Next step requires candidate to upload images. Once you’re ready with the scanned image of yourself and your signature, click on “Upload Your Photo/Sign” to contine.

Upload your scanned Photograph and Signature in JPG format. The scanned Photograph file size must be between 15KB to 50KB and the scanned Signature file size must be between 5KB to 20KB.


Step 11

Next step requires candidate to pay the Application Fees. Click on “Make Payment” to contine.


Step 12

Candidates can pay the Fees online using Debit card/ Credit card/ Net Banking or pay at Bank using Bank Challan.

Step 13

After successful payment, save the generated confirmation page for future use. Application is not complete until confirmation page is generated.

MHT-CET (MHCET) is conducted by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell for admission to first year of full-time degree courses of Health Sciences and Technical Education (Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy) in the state of Maharashtra.

One important change from 2019 is MHT-CET 2019 will be conducted as an Online Computer based Test instead of Pen-Paper based examination.
