JoSAA 2017: Top 20 Percentile Cut off Marks

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2017 has released the top 20 Percentile Cut off Marks for different boards (as received from different boards) for admission to institutes under it’s system.

From this academic session, for the candidates to qualify for admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs, the candidate should be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in his/her/its respective Class XII (or equivalent) examination OR the candidate should have secured 75% (for GEN or OBC-NCL) or 65% (SC, ST or PwD) of aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent) examination.

Students can learn more about the JoSAA 2017 eligibility here.

To check the top 20 percentile, candidates can either visit the JoSAA site or go here.

Please note that in case a Board does not provide information about the qualifying marks for the top 20 percentile, the candidate will have to produce a certificate from the respective Board stating that he/she/it falls within the top 20 percentile of successful candidates. If the candidate fails to do so, then the qualifying marks for the CBSE will be used.
