Joint Entrance Examination (Main) is an all-India common engineering entrance examination conducted for admission to various engineering colleges and courses across the country.
Candidates seeking admission into undergraduate programs such as B.E., B.Tech, and B.Arch in NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions, and institutions funded by participating state governments can apply for the exam.
JEE (Main) also serves as an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which candidates can take if they wish to seek admission to undergraduate programs offered by IITs.
