
JEE Main 2023: Cutoff Scores Declared
Overview
National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the cut-off scores for JEE Main 2023. Candidates who have cleared the cutoff can apply for JEE (Advanced) 2023 from April 30, 2023.
Note: This cutoff is only to shortlist candidates for appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2023 and doesn’t affect admissions to NITs/IIITs. Admissions to NITs/IIITs will be done on the basis of your JEE Main 2023 rank.
The result of JEE Main 2023 examination was declared on April 29, 2023. Candidates who had appeared for one or more of the four exam sessions can check their NTA score and NTA rank.

The JEE (Advanced) qualifying cutoff is also announced along with the JEE (Main) result. The top 2,50,000 candidates (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) will be eligible to appear for the JEE (Advanced).

- JEE Main cutoff only decides the eligibility for appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2023.
- Candidates who haven’t cleared the JEE Main cutoff can also apply for the Joint Counselling to get admission at NIT/IIIT/GFTIs based on their JEE Main rank.

Joint Entrance Examination (Main) is an all India common engineering entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country.
Those candidates who are looking for admissions into undergraduate programmes B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch in NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions, institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other institutions can apply for the exam.
The JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidates can take if they are seeking admissions to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.
