Overview

National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the cut-off scores for appearing in JEE (Advanced) – 2019. Candidates who have cleared the cutoff can apply for JEE Advanced 2019 from May 3, 2019.

The result of JEE Main 2019 examination was declared on April 29, 2019. Candidates who had appeared for the January examination during January 8, 2019 – January 12, 2019 and for the April exam during April 7, 2019 – April 12, 2019 can check their NTA score and NTA rank.

The JEE Advanced qualifying cutoff is also announced along with the JEE (Main) result. The top 2,45,000 candidates (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2019.

  • JEE Main cutoff only decides the eligibility for appearing in JEE Advanced 2019.
  • Candidates who haven’t cleared the JEE Main cutoff can also apply for the Joint Counselling to get admission at NIT/IIIT/GFTIs based on their JEE Main rank.

Joint Entrance Examination (Main) is an all India common engineering entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country.

Those candidates who are looking for admissions into undergraduate programmes B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch in NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions, institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other institutions can apply for the exam.
