The National Testing Agency has rescheduled the JEE Main 2022 examination. The Session-I exam will now be conducted from June 20 to June 29, 2022 and Session-II exam will be conducted from July 21 to July 30, 2022.

Earlier, the Session-I exam was scheduled to be conducted from April 21 to May 4, 2022 and Session-II exam was scheduled to be conducted from May 24 to May 29, 2022. Check JEE Main Important Dates for other important dates.

Joint Entrance Examination (Main) is an all India common engineering entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country.

Those candidates who are looking for admissions into undergraduate programmes B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch in NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions, institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other institutions can apply for the exam.

The JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidates can take if they are seeking admissions to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.
