Overview

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official Answer Keys of JEE Main 2021 February exam. Candidates who had appeared for the examination during February 23 – February 26, 2021 can access the answer key.

To check the answer key, candidates will have to enter their application number and password / date of birth on the official exam website. Check detailed steps here.

Candidates can compare the answers they have marked in the question paper with the answer key in order to predict their score in the entrance test.

Candidates can also challenge the answer key if they feel there’s any mistake. The prescribed non-refundable fee of Rs.200 per question challenged will be required to be submitted through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking latest by September 3, 2021 (6:00 PM).

Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge.

The JEE Main 2021 February exam was conducted between February 23, 2021 – February 26, 2021 in two shifts each day.

Where and How to Download

Candidates are provided with 2 methods to download the answer key. Candidates can choose any of them.

Method 1:

  1. Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in & click on “View Answer Key And Question Paper” OR directly open this link.
  2. Click on “Through Application Number and Password”.
  3. Enter your Application Number and Password.
  4. Enter the security pin as displayed on the screen.
  5. Click on “Login”.
  6. Click on the “View Question Paper” to view your Question Paper and click on “View/Challenge Answer key” to view Answer Key.
  7. Match the Question IDs in Question Paper with the respective Question ID in the Answer key to find the correct Option ID.

 

Method 2:

  1. Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in & click on “View Answer Key And Question Paper” OR directly open this link.
  2. Click on “Through Application Number and Date of Birth”.
  3. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth.
  4. Enter the security pin as displayed on the screen.
  5. Click on “Login”.
  6. Click on the “View Question Paper” to view your Question Paper and click on “View/Challenge Answer key” to view Answer Key.
  7. Match the Question IDs in Question Paper with the respective Question ID in the Answer key to find the correct Option ID.

Method 1:

  1. Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in & click on “Challenge Answer Key” OR directly open this link.
  2. Click on “Through Application Number and Password”.
  3. Enter your Application Number and Password.
  4. Enter the security pin as displayed on the screen.
  5. Click on “Login”.
  6. Click on “View/Challenge Answer key”.
  7. You will be able to see the Question IDs along with Option IDs & Correct Option ID/s.
  8. If you wish to challenge any answer, you may select one or multiple Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box for multiple choice questions.
  9. In case of no checkbox is available, numeric values may be entered into the textbox provided for numerical based questions.
  10. If you want to upload supporting documents, you can select “Choose File” and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).
  11. Scroll down to “Submit your Claims” and move to next screen.
  12. You will be able to see a display of all the Option IDs which you want to challenge.
  13. Click on “Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally”.
  14. Select Mode of Payment and Pay your non-refundable processing fee of Rs.200 for each question challenged. You may make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.
