Visit IISER Registration website and enter your Personal details including your Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Mobile number & Email address and Click on “Generate OTP”.

Enter the security characters as shown and click on “Submit” to receive OTP.

Enter the respective OTP received on your mobile and email and Click on “Validate” for both.

Check the “I Agree” checkbox, enter the security verification characters as shown on the screen and click on “Reverify”.

Verify the data, check the respective checkboxes, and click on “Submit”.

You’ll receive an email with subject “Application Form Login Details” containing your User Id and Password for IISER Application.

Visit IISER Application website and Enter your User Id & Password (as received on Email) and click on Login.

Dashboard screen will be displayed. Click on “Go to Personal Details Form” to continue filling Application Form.

Application Form will be displayed with pre-filled details. Enter the remaining Personal details including Parents’ details, Category details, and Photo ID details.

Enter the remaining Guardian details including Guardian Qualification details. Also enter an alternate Mobile number.

Enter the Present & Permanent Adresses. Then click on “Save & Continue”.

Enter your Qualification details including Qualifying Exam and Board details.

If class 12th result for your board is declared, select Yes and fill your marks in the fields that appear. You must write marks obtained out of 100 and upload your class 12th marksheet.

If your result is awaited, you need to update it in the application before the notified date.

Next step requires the candidate to upload images. You’ll need scanned image of your passport-size photograph and your signature.

Upload your scanned Photograph and Signature in JPG format. The scanned Photograph and Signature file size must be less than 200KB.

Enter the security verification characters as shown on the screen, check the “I Agree” checkbox and click on Submit.

You’ll be prompted that no changes can be made to the Application Form post submission. Click on “Ok”.

Click on “IAT Channel” to continue filling Application Form.

Click on “Click here to fill the Application”.

Provide 5 preferences for Exam city.

Provide IISER preferences in decreasing order of your preference.

Choose the Payment Gateway, check the “I Agree” checkbox and click on Submit.

You’ll be prompted that no changes can be made to the Application Form post submission. Click on “Ok”.

Candidate will be redirected to Payment Gateway. Candidates can pay the Fees online using Debit card/ Credit card/ Net Banking/ UPI.

After a successful payment, save the generated confirmation page for future use. The Application is not complete until the confirmation page is generated.

NOTE: In case you do not see a transaction success/failure page on payment gateway page, DO NOT attempt multiple payments. Please verify first whether money is debited from the account used for the attempted payment. If the money is debited, then contact the helpdesk with transaction id to resolve the issue.
