HBTU Kanpur Admissions 2025: Round 2 Result Declared
The second round result of HBTU Admissions 2025 for admission to B.Tech. programmes and BS-MS programme at Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur through JEE (Main) exam, has been declared today.
To check the result, candidates will have to enter their JEE Main Application number and Password on the official admissions website. Check detailed steps here.

How to Check Result
- Visit HBTU Admissions website.
- Enter your JEE Main Application number, Password and Security Pin as displayed on screen.
- Click on “Sign In”.
What Next?
If you are allotted a seat
- Candidates who have been allotted a seat are required to report at HBTU Kanpur for Offline Document Verification as per the prescribed schedule (July 1 – July 5, 2025, 10 AM – 5 PM). Remember to bring all relevant original documents.
- Upon successful document verification, candidates must immediately deposit the full academic fee (Rs. 1,35,000 for B.Tech. and Rs. 80,000 for BS-MS). This fee can be paid by Demand Draft in the name of ‘Finance Controller, HBTU Kanpur’ (payable at Kanpur), or Cash, or Online. Non-deposition of this fee will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.
- After depositing the fee, candidates must select either the FREEZE or FLOAT option through the portal. For detailed explanations of these options, refer to the Acceptance Options.
If you are NOT allotted a seat
- Candidates who have not been allotted a seat in Round 2 should await the result of subsequent rounds.
