Overview
The Indian Statistical Institute Admission Test (ISI Admission Test) is conducted by ISI Kolkata for admission to under-graduate degree programmes at ISI Kolkata (for B.Stat) and ISI Bengaluru (for B.Math).

About
- The exam will be an offline pen-paper based test.
- There will be 2 papers of 2 hours duration each.
- Paper-I will have MCQ questions of Mathematics while Paper-II will have Descriptive questions of Mathematics.
- In Paper-I, Each correct answer fetches 4 marks, each unattempted question fetches 1 mark, and each incorrect answer fetches 0 marks.

ISI AT 2023 Application Fee is as follows:

Registration
- The registrations for ISI Admission Test 2023 examination will begin from March 11, 2023.
- The last date to apply is
April 5, 2023April 10, 2023.
Application Procedure
- Candidates need to visit the ISI Admissions website and register.
- Login and fill the prescribed application form.
- Pay the application fee online.
- Download a copy of the application for future reference.
Application Correction
- Candidates will be provided a facility to make correction in their application form particulars.
- It is one-time facility and is extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them.
- The correction window will be open as per the notified schedule.
Hall Ticket / Admit Card
- The admit card can be downloaded from the ISI Admissions site after it’s notified.
- The admit card will contain the name, photograph, signature and registration number of the candidate, test centre, test code and the date of test.
- The applicants will be required to carry hard copies of the admit card to the test centres on the day of the Admission Test.

Qualifying Cutoff
- Candidates need to clear the cutoff specified by ISI in order to be evaluated for Paper II and further get shortlisted for Interview.
- Stage I: The score of the top 450th candidate in Paper I will be taken as the Qualifying score for General/EWS.
- For OBC-NCL, Qualifying score will be 0.9 times of General qualifying score. For SC/ST/PwD, Qualifying score will be 0.7 times of General qualifying score.
- All candidates whose scores are equal to or above the respective (category wise) qualifying score will be deemed to have been shortlisted in Stage I.
- Stage II: The composite score of such candidates will be calculated by giving weightage of 1 to Paper I and a weightage of 3 to Paper II. The composite score of the top 160th candidate will be taken as the Qualifying score for General/EWS.
- All candidates whose scores are equal to or above the respective (category wise) qualifying score will be deemed to have been shortlisted in Stage II. Such candidates will be called for interview.
Result
- Results will be available on the ISI Admissions site after it’s notified.
- Candidates who clear the Qualifying Cutoff need to appear for an interview as per the notified schedule.
- Applicants will be ranked on the basis of weighted sum of scores calculated by giving weightage of 1 to Paper-I score, weightage of 3 to Paper-II score and weightage of 6 to Interview score.
- The admissions will be based on the merit rank obtained in the weighted sum of scores list.
Admission
- For admission to ISI, a candidate needs to take the ISI Admission Test followed by an interview which will be held as per the notified schedule.
- Only the candidates who clear the Qualifying Cutoff are called for an interview.
- Applicants will be ranked on the basis of weighted sum of scores calculated by giving weightage of 1 to Paper-I score, weightage of 3 to Paper-II score and weightage of 6 to Interview score.
- The admissions will be based on the merit rank obtained in the weighted sum of scores list.
