AMU Engineering Entrance Exam 2025
Overview
The Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam (AMUEEE) is the entrance exam conducted by Aligarh Muslim University for admission to its B.Tech/B.Arch programs at ZHCET. An additional test is required for B.Arch. aspirants to assess their design skills.

Exam Pattern
- The exam will be an offline, pen-and-paper-based test with a duration of 3 hours.
- A total of 150 questions will be asked from the subjects of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
- All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with each question having four options, only one of which is correct.
- Each correct answer will earn 1 mark, while each incorrect answer will incur a penalty of 0.25 mark (-0.25 mark).
- B.Arch. aspirants are required to take the NATA exam as well.

Eligibility
- Marks in Qualifying Examination: The candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in the aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

AMUEEE 2025 Application Fee is ₹1,000.
Note
Candidates applying for admission to B.Tech. can also apply for admission to B.Arch. using the same application form, by paying an additional admission test fee of ₹100.
Registration
- Registration for the AMUEEE examination will begin from January 2, 2025.
- The last date to register without a late fee is
January 31, 2025February 8, 2025. - The last date to register with a late fee of Rs.300 is

- The aspiring candidate is required to register on the AMU Admissions website and provide all necessary details while filling out the Online Application.
- The candidate is then required to upload their Photo, Signature, and Thumb Impression.
- The candidate can pay the Examination Fee via Online Payment (Netbanking/ Debit/ Credit card).
- Once done, candidates are advised to save a copy of the application form for future reference.
Application Correction
- Candidates will be provided with a facility to make corrections in their application form details.
- This is a one-time facility extended to candidates to avoid any hardship.
- The correction window will be open according to the notified schedule.

Hall Ticket / Admit Card
- The admit card can be downloaded from the AMU Admissions site once it is notified.
- Please note that the Admit Card will be issued only to those candidates whose Application Form is complete in all respects and has been successfully submitted on or before the last date for submission.
- Candidates are required to paste their recent passport-sized colour photograph on the downloaded Admit Card (the same photograph as affixed on the Application Form).
- Candidates must produce the admit card at the test centre, without which entry will not be allowed.
Answer Keys
- The answer keys for the AMUEEE examination will be made available on the AMUEEE website as per the schedule.
- Candidates will have the opportunity to challenge the Answer Key online by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs.100 per answer challenged, within 48 hours of the display of the Answer Key.
- Challenges submitted by candidates will be verified by the University, and if found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly.
Result / Rank List
- For B.Tech, a merit list will be prepared based on the total marks secured in the AMUEEE.
- For B.Arch, equal weightage will be given to the AMUEEE and the NATA exam for preparing the merit list.
Counselling
- Admission will be purely based on the performance in the entrance examination AMUEEE (for B.Tech.) and AMUEEE & NATA (for B.Arch.), provided that the candidate satisfies the eligibility conditions described here.

- Candidates are required to paste their recent passport-sized colour photograph in the space provided on the downloaded Admit Card (the same as affixed on the Application Form).
