IISc Bangalore BTech Admissions 2022
Overview
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc), a leading institution of higher learning with a strong tradition of research, offers a four-year Bachelor of Technology Programme in Mathematics and Computing.
The institute conducts institutional level counselling for admission to its B.Tech. programmes. Admissions will be done on the basis of merit in JEE Advanced.
NEW: 20% supernumerary quota of approved intake will be given to women candidates for IISc Bangalore BTech Admissions.

Eligibility
Entrance Examination
The candidate must have appeared for JEE (Advanced) 2022.
Qualifying Examination
- Candidates must have either completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in 2021 or expecting to complete in 2022.
- Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects during their 10+2 (or equivalent).

A total of 52 seats are available for B.Tech. (MnC) course.

Criteria of Selection
Admissions will be based on the rank obtained in JEE (Advanced) – 2022 Examination.
Application Fee
The prescribed registration fee for IISc Bangalore Application Form is ₹500 for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates and ₹250 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.

- The registration for IISc Bangalore B.Tech. Admissions 2022 will begin on June 1, 2022.
- The last date to register is
August 30, 2022September 14, 2022.
How to apply
- Visit IISc Bangalore Admissions website and click on “Apply to UG B.Tech. Programme”.
- Click on “New user to register” and create an account.
- Fill the application form with requisite information.
- Pay the application fee online using Net-Banking / Debit / Credit Card.
- Save the confirmation page for future reference.
Counselling
- The Admissions will be done as per the applicable reservation of seats and the Merit Rank in respective Merit List.
- There will be multiple rounds of seat allotment.
